More Diablo III rumors ?

They are looking for level designers to 'support' the team that was responsible for Diablo I & Diablo II. What else are they working on that would be Diablo I & 2 related ? Diablo III if you ask me Look for yourself:

Looks more like a slam dunk....look at all the "Top Secret" listings on the right and they all involve work on their upcoming MMO or design/animation/programming with D1/D2 designers. I'm really hoping some of the Iron Lore folks get picked up to work on this title as they really put some innovative features into Titans Quest/IT that would work great in an action MMORPG.

I don't think it'll be called D3 though, would have to follow WoW's lead with a catchy acronym based on teh franchise...like Diablo Overlord of Destruction which of course truncates to DooD!

A good question would be: Why would gamers not believe in a making of a sequel to Diablo II? Do gamers just don't want to revisit that tough and possessed world and know what happened to Tyreal? I sure would, as long as I don't have to pay to play it, as in it being a MMORPG, in which case I would simply not buy it.

Nothing happened to Tyreal - he stands guard at the gates of hell. The only plausible sequel could come from the fact that Ba'al's soulstone was never destroyed. Mephisto's and Diablo's were, hence they're not coming back. Which would make the name "Diablo 3" kind of... retarded.

The original fight that imprisoned them in the soulstones would make for a good story I would guess. Of course that would make for an EXCELLENT MMO setup in that case - as it would be the armies of light versus the armies of darkness with humans caught in the middle, if I remember Diablo's backstory correctly.
