Kay Bailey Hutchinson's seat was won by another Republican - Ted Cruz, Ron Paul's seat was also won by another Republican - Randy Weber** The Republican Governor still enjoys Republican majorities in the State House and Senate**

So . . . it's newsworthy that Texas leans Republican? Not sure what I am meant to take from this. In my own state, the Democrats took control of both houses of the legislature, which had been under Republican control. Should I start a thread trumpeting that as well?

You people keep saying that, but in our local elections, well ******

Let me just lay on some names from our recent local elections ********

    Cruz
    Longoria
    Flores
    Galvan
    Valencia
    Garcia
    Torres
    Benavides
    Garcia
    Cisneros
    Martinez
    Sendejar
    Riojas
    Benavidez
    Garcia
    Rivas
    Pérez
    Perez
    Diaz
    Villarreal
    Salinas
    Cavazos

Last I checked 84% of my city is Hispanic, it's a mix of republicans and democrats, don't know the exact percentage's off hand, but neither side obliterates the other by any stretch of the imagination** Here in reality there's no mass migration to blue or red**

Texas would also like to teach kids that dinosaurs walked with Jesus. What else is new.

They were more ready to believe Jesus had returned than accept the remote possibility a black man who passed healthcare reform and had the highest unemployment since the great depression could be reelected. One more good push could send them over the edge and demand for antipsychotic drugs could skyrocket. My advice is to invest in the pharmaceutical industry.

Nobody has posted anything hateful. You're off in your own universe, evidently. Given that I have generally found you a bright poster, this thread is disappointing, silly trolling.

With Texas having the fewest people covered under health care, one of the worst obesity rates, lowest rate of savings for retirement, etc I can understand tears in Texas.

Much like the threads in here for the past week with a similar yet opposite theme yet I haven't seen you post in them condemning the person/s for trolling.

You made your thread in a desperate attempt to get a rise out of people.. it didn't.. then you made the insane claim that there was "hate" in the responses... umm, clearly you don't know the definition of the word... projection isn't fact.

Should someone point out every post from trolls?
Or point out troll post from non trolls, what would have more impact?

Give me some examples. In any case I don't see how it's my duty to point out every time someone posts idiotic trolling. I just thought you were better than this - it disappoints me that you're not.

    It's just more whiny crying.

-Dumbass OP make a troll-baiting post
-Dumbass gets dismantled by others with factual posts
-GOP sympathizers cry, calling it trolling.

If you don't want to be trolled, don't post stupid shit.

Capitalizing on the misfortunes of other conservatives and the middle class. That's what I call traditional conservatives values.

Texas is and remains a fairly sold red state, which is why I think this thread is somewhat futile. Texas may become more blue in the two year or four year short term, but the R's will have to lay major eggs, giving the D's that needed boost and that has not happened yet.
