More delicious chicken footage~~!

The video says this is a standard procedure. Waiting until Neckbeard comes in to post.

I love the ending where it says you can end this cruelty by adopting a compassionate vegan diet.

as a giant hypocrite and all-around uncompassionate person, i feel much better not watching these videos and continuing to enjoy my meat.

Wow...who wasn't seen this video (welcome to 2009)...

It's been two years and I'm still to find what's wrong.

A bit disturbing and I don't agree with the procedures within the industry, but is it that surprising to see such things once you realize these are companies with profit in mind?

But yeah, don't agree with the procedure at all, but I do like some tasty chicken. A "more compassionate" way of doing things (within reason) would be to have smaller family owned chicken farms and processing facilities where the animals can roam as they grow, are killed in a precise manner, and treated with some respect until their ultimate doom. The obvious issue with this is cost is going to go up immensely, but it will give the buyer some confidence in knowing what they are eating went through a less bitter process for the animal, not to mention safer, better handled, and probably more healthy meat.

What do we want, a laying on of hands and a little prayer where we thank the great earth mother for the gift of this life?

More animals are killed per consumer to sustain a vegetarian diet versus a normal diet. True story and a fact that makes me smile.

"There is, unfortunately, no way to breed eggs that only produce female hens," said the group's spokesman, Mitch Head. "If someone has a need for 200 million male chicks, we're happy to provide them to anyone who wants them. But we can find no market, no need."

So I guess the next step is to do research that allows gender specific breeding.

Hmm, apparently this logic (from a research paper) has been shot down. Been awhile since I heard about.

As for providing links etc. in general, google yourselves. This isn't court. This isn't a job.:hmm: Yourself!

:colbert:

I am legitimately curious. I consider myself a militant carnivore, so I'm always on the hunt for ammo against this rabid campaign to destroy all that makes us human (those fucking vegans).

vegetarians don't really bother me until they make idiotic arguments.

I'm with you borther, but apparently we lost an argument in 2003 and I failed to notice or look before posting the debunked info.

Had to do with the amount of animals killed in farming.
