For the last 3 months or so whenever I went to the Guide to look up shows more than three days in advance it would go Loading Description. I could see the name of the show in the scroll type boxes, but not the episode info. That is when I see Loading Description, when I try to get the specific info on the show. My beef with this is takes a while for each show to load, making setting my HD DVR a pain.
This never happened up til about three months ago.
Also, now if I am recording two shows and want to go ahead and set some other recordings more than about 3 days in advance it says "No information availble" if I try to get specific show info. Obviously the DVR doesn't have complete program description more than about 3 days in advance and can't get more info if I am recording two shows.
After a number of calls to the Comcast morons I finally found someone who helped. She actually went to her HD DVR in the help center and verified the same problem occurred on her machine.
See, originally Comcast kept saying it was a problem in my box, cable etc, and that no one else had called to say this was a problem.
Why the hell would Comcast stop downloading the full week into the guide and only do about 3 days? Basic text can't take up hardly any space nor take hardly any time to download into my box.
Sheesh.
Its time to consider alternatives to Comcrap.
