More cheap or less better?

I'm going to build a Barton 2500+ on an Abit NF7 (and do the standard 2500 overclock) and was curious as to all your thoughts on the RAM. If my budget only allowed $XX... would you go with 1 gig (2x512) of CAS3 PC3200 (cheaper) or 512 (2x256) of PC3200 CAS2 LL? Thanks in advance!

I'd go with 1GB of CAS 3. It won't make much of a difference in your memory speeds but will give you added headroom for upcoming blockbuster games that'll use the extra memory like Half-life2 and Doom3.🙂
