they supposedly sticking in the chip out of the slim-line PS2 so it can play PS2 games, something about the CELL not emulating the emo engine properly
its not a bad idea, afterall the PS2 was desgined to play PS2 games, so it makes sense to jus stick the dedicated hardware in it, its all on one chip too

seems sony have the idea that they will upgrade the PS3 over time. something thats bound to piss people off. i mean £425 for the console at launch, then a year later they upgrade it with more memory, HDD, Blu-Ray Burner....i mean come on, i aint buying the same thing twice
it seems to be getting worse and worse for PS3
the other week we had that the cells local mem read speed was a paltry 16mb/s while the read for the same memory was 4Gb/s that makes the local memory pointless
then theres RSX, which so far i believe just isnt good enough, its just a G70 with claims it can only set up about half as many traingles as the ATI chip in the 360.
they really are doing a good job of making me think about an Xbox360 purchase, but im gonna hold judgement till i actually see working hardware and games
