I wanna see what happens when you run a P4 (Prescot) without a fan or a heatsink, and preferably without a heatspreader on the chip. And without any case fans.

Someone do it and post pics and movies!!!

Perhaps, everyone is so up about keeping their computer as cool as possible. How bout making a computer as warm as possible? Put your computer in your oven and set it to broil, then throw a couple of dried out logs in the oven just for extra effect. I bet you could get some mad OC in those conditions.

no flames or smoke? How lame.

In the future they should make CPU's that run on flames. Imagine how cool that would look inside your case.

Maximum PC had some Pictures a few years ago of a processor with a fan that overheated (I think it was AMD). Well to make a long story short, the socket melted and the most of the solder did too. The guy woke up in the morning to find his HSF and CPU lying on the bottom of his case with a plastic goo spread between where his CPU once was.

Whenever I try and watch that video windows media plays it as an audio file and I just get the stupid visualzations. :(

You need a divx codec. I suggest downloading one of the K-Lite Codec packs at http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm .
