Well, i moved into my new place about 2 months ago and got Ameritech DSL. Everything has been great, except, i havent been billed for it. I told them to bill my phone bill for the DSL instead of a seperate one. Last month, my phone bill was $30 with $15 coming from the installation of the phone line, which was $60 deferred over 4 months.

Well, i got the rebate information on saturday about how to get $149, the cost of installation, rebate. I submitted it today.

So, what should i do about the DSL cost, which hasnt been billed. Right now, i should owe $149 for install, and $100 for 2 months of service minus the $149 rebate.

well.. personally i'd wait and see... sometimes companies are slow to bill at first.. if you do keep the service and continue to not get billed it is not stealing... just be prepared to pay a big ole bill if they figure it out

when they realize that they have nott been charging you, they will back charge for the entire time.

If they catch it say five months from now, you will be charged.

Either tell them or start stashing that money away for the day when they do catch it. But, that may be a year away, so you'd get interest on that money. Or, they may never catch it and then you'll have some extra for savings.

I don't think you can get in trouble for not paying a bill that never existed. Worst that would happen is paying back charges.
