A friend of mine is stuck on this girl even though we constantly try to convince him not to be. Lately signs of cheating have been showing up, and so my question is...are my friends and I in the right to snoop through her emails and some personal things in order to prove it?
 
Stay out. You've made your POV clear, if he doesn't want to see it, he won't see it, no matter what you do. Just be ready to provide support when he's ready for it.

i feel it is your duty as a friend to absolutely convince him of it. If my friends were to know, I'd be mad that they didn't do anything. At least you are trying.

but if it were me, I'd prefer to find out ASAP so the recovery can be faster. The longer it drags out, the worst it'll get.

snoop as much as you need to IMHO.

Yep. He wont care no matter what you show him. Let him figure it out and then be ready to help him out.
 
Snooping is not cool! If you can catch her wihtout being underhanded, that would be the way to go. It's not really your place to do anything though. If he wants to ignore the signs, then that's him and he'll just have to deal with the hurt later. All you can really do is be there for him if he finds out. That is if she's actually cheating though.
