Moral with Warranty?

Last week one of my monitors started getting tons of green/pink pixels in random locations. I still had warranty and the company agreed to send me a refurbished one of the same model.

I am just curious, what would happen if I didn't send them back my old model? Would I get into legal issues if I never actually shipped back my old monitor after I received the refurbished one?

Obviously its morally wrong to keep both, but what if it gets "lost in shipping?"

Anyways just thought of this.

yep. And he's smart enough to post about it on a public forum.

I seem to remember one of these threads lasting for almost 400 posts and ended up with the OP being outed to the company. Maybe I'm mistaken though...
