Although I still have my 1st-gen phone and have zero problems with battery life (lasts all day). But, I'm sure a lot of 3G users will rejoice based on what I've been reading about battery life on the new ones 😀

Hmm.. I have plenty of battery life by switching back and forth between EDGE and 3G myself, but this would definitely be nice if I needed the 3G bandwidth all the time.

Zap already has a battery pack available, and it's only $46. It's not as nice looking as the mophie, but it will get the job done.

Bah, looks like it'll make it bulky to carry around. Like a Tilt. I have a charger at the desk and charger in the car. I decided to go that route before I knew about this. No reason to put down a c note for this now.

UPDATE:

I contacted the company I bought the Zap from. They put me in contact with someone at the manufacturer who gave me a RMA# and told me to ship the dead unit to them. He said that, when they receive it, they will ship me a new one.

I recently purchased a Phonesuit Mili that is en route right now, because I needed something fast for my upcoming travels, but at least the manufacturer seems to be standing behind their product. We shall see how long this one lasts.
