We are cow, all your base are belong to us!! MOOOH!! Well..except for Shames and Slapsticks base.

Hmmm no, that wasn't what I was here for 😱

I'm here to take you back! Get back in the D2OL project now! I know there have been too little updates from the D2OL project, but this issue has only been seriously addressed like what...2 weeks ago? And Charles is working his ass off (like always) to improve that, so give him a little credit and please get all back to D2OL and kick us cow's asses 😀 (well, don't take that seriously, we actually DO belong at the #1 spot  ).

Besides, aren't you guys gonna miss me? 😉

What? No? Hmm...well...lief_adje then perhaps? 😛

But please reconsider your decision to leave the project, it has always been a good project and it will be a better project in the future. Maybe you guys each want to put 1 pc on it just to keep in touch with the project and see for yourself that there's gonna be improvement?

For now..happy crunching and MOOOH!!

Trying man ... trying ... and soon to be succeeding!!😀

And these words are spoken from a BlackMountainCow, so I know what I'm talking of!! 😉

Sounds like someone's developing a case of Hoof-n-Mouth disease or Mad Cow Disease.

😉

Time to fire up the BBQ!

You wanna get me back in the project? Provide me with a client that is either SMP compliant, or can be run in seperate directories each dedicated to a particular CPU(like I can with the SETI CLI). If you can do either of those, then I'll bring a couple machines back. 🙂

If you like that one, you just might appreciate this one (I am topicstarter and builder of the thing): Click

In response to networkman:
It is possible to run 2 clients from different directories if you have dual processors (but I guess you already know that). Do you mean that you want to appoint the client to which CPU it must run on?

Correct Silkdude.

kmoney56, thanks for the link, I'll give that a try. 🙂

This may work for my existing dual-cpu machines, but it will become even more important soon, as I'll be picking up a Quad Xeon for "the basement". Unfortunately, the 8-way Proliant 8500 is still just a little too much out of my practical price range.
