Moog and Mevotech

I ordered a pair of Moog upper ball joints for my Lincoln. Moog is generally very well regarged, and there is a price premium for getting Moog parts.

Today I recieved in the mail two upper ball joints in boxes branded "Mevotech." Mevotech parts go for as little as 1/3 the price of Moog parts and have a reputation of not even being worth that much.

My question then is Moog the upper echelon of Mevotech parts and the parts I recieved are correct or was I right to email the customer service department asking for a replacement or a refund.

(one a side note, the pinch bolts that I recieved with the ball joints do not match the picture on their website and will not fit the vehicle, also mentioned in my email).

I guess I might have to find a local supplier and pay a premium. I want to replace the current parts (mid grade autozone duralast parts, already bad after 6 months, the reason why I opted for the expensive Moog parts) this weekend.

Ah, well. Offer me your sympathies for this shady supplier or educate me about how I'm an idiot and I got exactly what I ordered.

Cheers!

edit: gah, yeah, got the wrong part.

MOAR EDITS!: I don't think they were trying to screw me. I ordered MOK8678 and received MK8678. If that's not an honest mistake I'd be surprised.
