You do realize, of course, that progressive government cuts result in layoffs just as much as "evil right wing" cuts do, don't you? Cutting the military means military contractor layoffs. You're just shifting the problem.

I'll give you a few weeks to mull that over. I know your tiny mind has trouble with complex ideas.

35,000,000 work for DOD/DOE/NASA/Surveillance security state related contractors. Not to mention all those small businesses around bases.

Like I've proven 2/3rds of Americans depend on govt to eat. Cut anything you fooked. Our whole economy is basically one big govt economy most of which relies on debt.

Where are these 4 million jobs that were supposed to be created by the stimulus? These estimates and just that, estimates. I highly doubt we will create enough jobs to not create 700K anyways.

And where are the jobs the rich would create once they got their tax break extensions?

See, it goes both ways.

hmmm since we are so broke. We could sell Alaska back to Russia (palin) included with deal...

Texas back to Mexico (bush) included with the deal. :)

Texas is not bankrupt, so why TX and not CA?

Nothing gets by you...except my point. Anybody telling you how many jobs we are going to create is blowing smoke up your ass. Nobody knows.

Our whole economy is basically one big govt economy most of which relies on debt.

As you know, you and I are in full agreement. The only question is how we want to fail. We can start cutting now and feeling the pain in manageable bits, or we can keep partying like it's 1999 and the whole thing can come crashing down in a spectacular fiery wreck.
