I've been told by many (friends) and I can see it myself that I have distinct... 'cleavage.' It's embarrasing now I've noticed it, and I want to do something about them. I don't have a gym or anything other than 2x 5lbs weights. What is the fastest way that I can get them into shape. I'd also like to do the same on my abs, specifically the whole area. Fast is good, I have until September 14th when I go on vacation again.

Recommend me something that I can see some small (morale boosting or whatever, knowing that what I am doing isn't useless) results in a week or so.

reality check my friend.... in a week ??

it takes time, patience and hard work. I was extremely fat and now have 16" arms and a 2 pack... nothing great but atleast i'm trying.

You HAVE to clean up your diet, eat 6 to 7 small meals a day, lots of cardio and in 6 months time you should see results.

I don't mean like Spiderman 1 kinda thing, but something that gives you something to see to help with a goal. Like, I'll save up $50 to a $100 thing, then say holy crap it took me 2 weeks, and it'll take another 2 weeks to get it. Screw it, and I blow it on some chocolate.

Is September 14th unrealistic?

Do cardio for 2+ hours a day. Lots of water. You will still have man boobs in a week, but it's a good start.

It took years to get them, it will take a long time to get rid of them (but can and WILL be done!)

Okay you can't get results in 1 week at all, but I can give you some tips. September 14th is DEFINITELY a VERY easy goal to get a lot leaner, you just need discipline.

Do you work 9-5 mon-fri? If so that makes it even easier as you can setup a 5 day eating schedule. Instead of 3 big meals, eat 5-6 little meals. Eat once before work , once around like noon, again around like 3:30 or 4pm, then eat another thing when you get home from work around 7, then eat another little snack/meal around 9-9:30. Make sure they are about 300-400 calorie meals, maybe a little more. and make sure its HEALTHY food, nothing like candy bars. If you do this during the weekdays, on the weekend you can have a little time off and spoil yourself a LITTLE bit, but not much.

Now about working out ... if you aren't going to join a gym, then just do some pushups and ab work. don't do what these guys on here tell you about "do pushups and crunches every day" because that is bad. Work your abs and chest every 4-5 days, maybe even every 6 days, depending if you are still sore from working them out the previous time. By doing your abs, don't just do 25 crunches. Your abs are 3 parts - upper, lower, obliques. For upper, just do some concentrated crunches, say 3 sets of 15, holding it at the peak for 1 second each time. For lower abs, do some leg lifts, and do them slowly and concentrated. For obliques, just sit on your butt with your legs bent and have your feet NOT touching the ground, so that you are balancing on your butt, and hold a 15lb dumbell and start twisting at your hips, holding the weight infront of you and letting it twist with your hips.

Also you need cardio. Run 3-4 times a week, for like 20-30 minutes. And i don't mean walk or jog, i mean run at a pretty steady pace. keep your heart rate up high.

And if you don't believe me, I would say I'm pretty lean and cut.

Good luck, and the week before you go on your vacation, start another thread and i'll tell you a 5 day diet that WILL give you results in less than 5 days and will have you as ripped and lean as possible for your vacatoin.

EDIT: having your abs/chest sore for 3-4 days straight should movitate you enough to let you know you actually worked something.

You need aerobic excercise and diet to lose the fat. Gaining muscle should be a seperate goal that can be achieved nearly simultaneously by incorporating isometric excercise after your aerobic excercise.
