The trailer for his new series look great.
Unfortunately, he's done all those action moves already 10yrs ago with Dead Fantasy.

lmao RWBY is not an Anime at all!
RWBY was done by some lame YouTubers (correct me if im wrong) and it got popular due to their subscribers and viewers count. If it was a standalone project it would have gone bankruptcy in episode 1. Whoever calls this cartoon Anime clearly never seen or heard of Anime. Just saiyan

saw both seasons. like it.

in addition to the main Disney chars, I especially liked that Monty paid homage to wizard of oz, Cowboy Bebop, joan of Arc, Harley Quinn, clockwork orange and the Monkey King. (might be others but probably went over my head.)


but there were some plot holes:
- the Monkey King was a stowaway on a ship. Why was he allowed to participate in student activities such as being paired with a Huntsman to get a Jr Detective badge? why would he even care about a Jr Detective badge?

- Ruby is useless w/o her Scythe weapon?!
she couldn't take down a lowly henchman w/her unarmed combat skills.
but with her scrythe, she can kick, punch and throw werewolves all over the place??


And as I said in the OP, the fight scenes have already been seen 10yrs ago in his Dead Fantasy series.
Especially the keyblades from Dead Fantasy 6. still cool tho.

Much better than the awful Ghost in the Shell prequel.
I cant wait for Season 3 next year!

animations look awful since Monty's death.

especially season 3 episodes 7+8. whoever drew them SUCKED at drawing arms and legs.
episode 10 comes out in 2 weeks.

yup, which shocked me.
it was all fun + games where heroes don't die or even bleed.
a black eye was probably the worse that happened in the previous 2 seasons.

it turned darker midway thru season 3.
as if Monty, b4 his death, planned out the 1st half of the season.
then the new guys who took over decided on a darker tone.

I don't like it.
will we see tentacle rape, ala typical anime, soon?
