Monthly idiot question? I added thermal paste to the outside of pad on retail AMD cpu.

no harm done, not my cpu.. no, but seriously, who needs warrenty - i always buy OEM myself. Just don't take off the heaksink if you're afraid of it going bad within 3 years - and don't overclock like mad
