Who's following who again ronnn?

What does that have to do with the frequency of driver updates?

omg I am being flamed!! I feel famous.

After reading many posts from the green team stating ati needed monthly upgrades because of soooo many issues - was fun to see nvidia admit to having issues and committing to monthly upgrades. Seriously I am glad to see Nvidia admit to driver problems (sure beats this default is crap unless benchmarking stuff) and committing to fix them. Is very good. Now if only bill would admit that vista is bloated and controlling - and would commit to fixing it.

Personally I think its a good idea. I like how I can depend on ATi's drivers every month. If its true, and does happen, I think its a good thing for NV, and a plus in my book. I didnt like the length of real drivers to come out, and having to try and find good beta drivers to use. When 2-3 come out a week, it can be a hassle. Good job NV, I dont care if they are copying ATi with it. ATI and NV both copy each other in so many ways already, its just how things work. Same with most companies in the same field. Vehicles anyone?

Oh, and your tone towards me was pretty rude. I simply pointed out that your post had nothing to do with the topic of the thread. Haven't you posted threads in FI complaining about members being rude to each other? Maybe you should go back, reread them and apply it towards your own behavior.

I'd take this to PM's Creig, but you have me blocked.

I would rather have one quality driver update every four months than have a crappy new driver every month.

Er, since when did nVidia do a quality update every 4 months?

Both ati and nvidia's drivers have sucked recently :|

You have certainly said that before (and before....), it must be very disappointing to have nvidia following the same strategy.

Control Panels need to go, from both.

yup, I dont know what was wrong with the original "pre control panel" user interface... it worked fine for me, a lot better than the control panel :(

Because you get downright obnoxious in the privacy of PMs. Here, in an open forum, you're forced to remain at least minimally civil according to the AT rules. If what you have to say is so bad that you can't post it for fear the Mods would see it, then I don't want to hear it.

Doubt it,but there probably be more new Vista drivers then XP ones that are released,Nvidia have already said that they now intend to concentrate on and optimize Vista drivers for performance very soon, official 8800 drivers are due end of February as well.

LOL, Love the article's tone. Yeah... ripped from ATI's play book. I guess anyone who updates something once a month ripped it from ATI's business plan.

On topic: It's a new OS, and new hardware, of course they are going to release updates for it more frequently. Did anyone honestly have to be told this?

Who else updates something once a month?

Microsoft. 'Patch Tuesday', remember?

You know you lie and that's a pretty lame excuse at any rate.. Besides, what I had to say was not bad at all, just wanted to keep the junk out of the forum. And you know as well as I do, you can forward any PM to any mod at any time. So if my PM's were so bad as you say, you would have sent any you had to a mod a long time ago to attempt to get me gone. Since you don't have any, you can't.

You've been on my blocked list for quite awhile now, along with Rollo. I'm fairly certain I didn't place you two on it because I was bored one day. It was far easier to simply block the both of you from sending me any more harrassing PMs than to bother the Mods with them. Problem solved.
