So I'm currently living in Washington State, but my parents are leaving to Montana and have offered me to go live with them while I finish up another year of college to get my transfer degree.

CONS:

I would have to pay out-of-state tuition in Montana because I won't have 1 full year of residency, but my parents would gladly help with that. I would also have to make new friends and adjust to the lifestyle there, obviously. No more Washington Huskies and Seattle Seahawks games. I will be away from my girlfriend of 1 year...pretty serious relationship. Harsh winters too, but, not much worse than those of Eastern Washington.

PROS:

I will be close with my parents. No stupid waiting periods on handguns. Hunting, Fishing, Wildlife, Mountains are really fun. The speed limits are higher, the roads are clearer, the police are friendlier, and they have excellent gun clubs. The quality of life seems to be higher in Montana too. The people are friendly, everyone speaks english, the crime is lower, the taxes are lower, and best of all no ex-girlfriends to make my life hell.

Any thoughts? Anyone from Montana? I have to make up my mind by spring.
