Monster wire and cables......

I know there's the back and forth peeps complaining about the price, etc. for both speaker wire and video, etc. cables......

Yet, I can buy "monster" brand speaker wire on a spool and buy the "ends" separately.

I can get 12 or 14 (or is it 16) guage wire on a 50' spool at Home Depot or Loews, etc.

As to video cable, speaker wire (got Onkyo 6.1 in a box system),; maybe getting 32" or 36" TV, etc.

So, what's the story.........

Does anyone know of a website that actually did a comparison ? come to think of it, maybe i saw one, but don't remember where......

Anybody have hands on experience and can tell me they actually "hear" the difference or "see" the difference ?

There are a bunch of electrical engineers who tested the various aspects of monster cable and found that it's the exact same stuff you can buy at Home Depot by the foot.
