From what I have heard Monster cables are overpriced pieces of crap. Someone did a blind comparison between them and coathangers awhile back and heard no difference.

Yes.

Or, if your the skeptical type go out and buy one. Save the receipt and see for yourself. Go get your $$ back if you don't notice any difference.

What are you talking about? Monster makes the very best cables. Gold plated whatzis took the vertical bars right out of my PS3 playback.

I only buy Monster cables from Best Buy. Trust no one else when it comes to A/V ICs.

HDMI is a digital cable. With a digital transmission, it WORKS or it DOESN'T. There's no quality to adjust. You can get a cable for $8 at Big Lots and it will work just as well.

That's not an Ethernet cable it's a "Ultra Premium Denon Link Cable" clearly you didn't read the description.

Ultra Premium Denon Link Cable aren't cheap, I challenge you to find me an Ultra Premium Denon Link Cable for less then $499. I bet you $100 you won't be able to...

I've still never figured out if hardcore A/V enthusiasts actually know what they're talking about or if they're all just posers who lie to themselves in order to justify the amount of money they've spent.

If there really was a difference, one of the high-dollar cable makers would let their product be used to take the 1 Million Dollar James Randi Challenge.

Pear Cable, who makes 7200 dollar cables, already chickened out of supplying cables for some journalist to take the challenge with.

Don't see anything in that link that says how cables can affect Jitter at all.

Plus, if a cable DID cause that, I'd define that as "not working". And replace the cable, not buy a more expensive one.
