I'm running monowall as my firewall + router, and I've been having trouble with bittorrent. I'm using the latest version of bitspirit on my desktop, and an older version on my laptop. I can get 200k+ download speeds on my laptop, but my desktop is barely getting 8k a second. It doesn't matter if they are both running downloads at the same time or not. Since i'm at work I don't have the exact version numbers for all three programs. Any suggestions on what is going on?

BTW: I don't have port forwarding on, and don't think it's needed because of the speeds my laptop is getting.
