stick to 2T2R you'd be surprised at how much faster it is - 16.5 megabytes/s with WZR buffalo - you might if the stars are lined up get half of that. probably less. more like 802.11G speeds. the price is good but not a good upgrade path.

amount of ram correlates to heavy use (utorrent) you want 64meg or 128meg for that.
flash will correlate to features that can be hacked about.
Chipset (atheros/broadcom/etc) will correlate to dd-wrt/etc driver support. these new routers just aren't getting the support for dd-wrt/others anymore - they are far faster with stock drivers. but limited in functionality.

$30 for a used WNDR might be a better spend if you can skip lunch a few times :)

Hi guys,

These routers do support bridging! Great for a lot devices that only have wired connections.

You get a lot of router for very cheap. If you guys have any questions feel free to PM me. Thanks!

LOL this is very interesting that Monoprice discovered this & chimed in. That's good I suppose. They can clear up some customer questions and concerns.

My Sister got the 150mbps one when the sale was going on. It works great she had me set it up for her. It's pretty feature packed. Seems to run cool to the touch.

If using it for G & N devices should it be on 20 or 40hz?

I picked one up myself for bridging but I haven't got around to messing with it.

Yes, this is a very nice router for the price. I just bought the 300Mbps version, and the setup was a snap. Very nice set of features, and I like the static DHCP abilities. It seems very speedy, and is almost weightless.

It came with almost no documentation, just a Quick Installation Guide (which is all that is really necessary). It has the ability to upgrade the firmware, however, I have no idea where to go to download the latest version. The Quick Guide states "Please download the latest firmware file from our website, and use it to upgrade your router." Great... where is "our website"? I tried going to monoprice.com, but there is no place to download firmware.

Maybe the Monoprice guy can respond?

But anyway, I really like the router so far...

Yeah as for the lack of documentation, a google search of the feature you are looking at will answer what it does.

As for firmware update. Don't think it needs any. It's pretty packed with features but who knows. Sure Monoprice can answer that.
