My supervisor just asked me to look for a laser printer to set up in the graduate student room. Initially, only 3 people will be using it, but we expect about 5-10 users within a few years.
What I am looking for is a durable printer that will last a while and has the following capabilities:
- Black and white only. Mostly text and some figures (tables, graphs, some diagrams). No super fancy pictures or colour will be needed.
- Will need to be a network printer for about 5-10 people.
- Must have duplex capabilities. We would like to conserve as much paper as possible. Duplex FTW!
I have never bought a printer before so I was wondering if someone could recommend a few models that meet our needs.
