Monitors

Planning on getting a second hand monitor. Due to overspending on my GeForce3, I am left with not much for a new one. So, is it a good/bad idea?

Good idea? Well I guess it depends on the age and condition of the second hand monitor and where you are getting it from (a large reseller or a private individual on ebay). I know lots of places sell reconditioned monitors - cheaper than brand new ones and you get a warranty too, maybe thats worth looking into.
