Hello everyone,
Well the title says it all, I'm looking for a good quality 17 or 19" monitor. I'm really interested in the Flat Sceens like the Samsung 900NF, but I don't the cash for that. So what would be a good quality monitor that doesn't have a hefty price tag? Also preferably 19". Is the KDS 19" any good?

i have the samsung 753df and it rules.. wish i got the nf but its a very good 17" monitor for the 170 i got it for 🙂

If they have a best buy around you house get a Viewsonic PerfectFlat A95f 19in its $429 with a $50 mir I picked one up yesterday so it comes to $379 check out the website to see the specks you will love this monitor. BTW they had the samsung right next to it at the store and they were not even close. The VS was much nicer, better color and text by far. Im not trying to diss the samsung I just call them as I see them

Oh yes.. let me add, I'm in Canada so 429US is quite a lot for me to shell out on a monitor...

Samsung can be found for about $383, with a $30 MIR, not a bad deal, but I personally think that its better than the ViewSonic by a good distance.

If you want a cheaper 19", consider the 955DF, its very affordable, good picture, but resolutions are kind of low. But you can get a kick ass 17" for only about $240, the 700NF, it's got some amazing specs.

i for lower price 19's i like the 955df and a few other samsungs(the more expensive AG cousins mostly) i myself own a KDS AV-195TF, i only paid $244, but that was due to the hot deals forum keep an eye on that froum and refresh it often.....

LucifierHaze: That's exactly what I'm running right now, and I think it's good, but I want to move up to a 19". Does TTX make good 19" monitors?
