So I'm looking for a program to look at internet traffic on the network I'm hooked up to (renting). Basically I would like to be able to host a Terraria server on occasion and upload some stuff on uTorrent or whatever. I'm confident the cable (Comcast) is capable of this. The wierd thing is, I can sometimes get good upload speeds (around 200+ kbps on uTorrent), but other times it's absolutely abysmal. I have not been able to figure out the correlation between the times and the upload speeds. And I always get good download speeds (14 mbps on speedtest.net, vs 0.05 mbps or so upload).
Anyway, I would like to rule out the possibility that another device on the network isn't doing something shady and taking all the upload speed. The guy I rent from isn't too tech savvy so this is definitely possible (I recently upgraded the old WRTG45 router firmware and moved him from WEP to WPA2-Personal).
I've tried Wireshark, but it appears to mostly be for my own machine, unless I fail at using it, which is entirely possible. So, any suggestions?
