im looking to install a program that will monitor and report internet sites that a computer user visits, msn and im convos, and the sort. does anyone know what type of programs do this and do this well?
 
You can set most IM clients to log conversations

setup a limited user profile so they cannot delete the logs, or clear history

Your router may have a history on it, check it's web interface to see if you can find one.

You can do more, by using a proxy. Not sure if ISA/Squid can monitor/log IM traffic, but web for sure.
