Whats the best way to get my whites whitest and my black blackest? I just got a new monitor and I can't seem to get both going nice

Set your monitor's color temp to 9300K and then adjust your contrast near or at 100% and then adjust the brightness to taste.

Your monitor should have a setting in it's menu called "Color Temperature" or something like that. What kind of monitor you have?
