Is it worth going from a TN panel to a VA panel with about the same specs? I just hate the wash out colors from a TN panel. I want to go IPS 144hz, but the prices are pretty high from those types of panels.
 
I think it really depends on what the current monitor is. If you are sitting on a 24in 1080p 60hz TN panel and was contemplating a move to a 24in 1080p 60hz VA panel I'd be hard pressed to recommend that.
