Yesterday night I turned my monitor off. A few seconds later I realized I needed to do something before bed so I turn it back on, but it did not turn back on. What could have happened? Think I could take it apart and repair? Does not seem that it could be the tube because seems like no power.

Yeah, that was the first thing I did since I thought it was weird for it to die so suddenly. I think it must be a blown fuse or something simple since there were no signs of sudden failure such as smoke or sparks. All I did was turn it off and then back on a few seconds later. After thinking about this for a while, I think I will just give up on it and get a new monitor. Not really worth risking being shocked. I've had this monitor for about 5 years, so it has served its life well enough.
