Monitor won't power save anymore...

About 2 weeks ago, my monitor stopped going into power-save mode after 30 mins.
My power tab in control panel is still set to "turn off monitor" after 30 mins - what gives?

I'm not trying to achieve full system standby, just monitor power down.

Any thoughts?
