Hello,

I am looking for a LCD monitor that has height adjustment and that sits low; such that when it is all the way down, the bottom bezel is not far from the desk. I have seen some Dell 2007FP and it comes very close to the desk surface (just a bit more than 1 inch). My BenQ however, cannot get any closer than 5 inches from the desk.

I prefer a monitor with 1600x1200 resolution and an S-IPS panel, but I am considering others if I find the monitor with the properties I am looking for.

Does anybody know any other monitors that sit low?

Thank you,

Philip

NEC LCD2090UXi. I have one in the loft. Ergonomically it does everything.

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

I found these monitors online, but from the pictures I cannot see how low they can go. My BenQ is height adjustable, but its minimum distance from the desk is over 5 inches. Could you please let me know approximately what is the minimum distance from the desk?

Thank you,

Philip

My HP LP2065 (1600*1200) goes as low as 8,5 centimetres (the width of a Visa credit card) from the desk surface.

Note of caution. While LP2065 started as an S-IPS monitor, you may be playing panel lottery if you go for it now.

Greetings,

The 2070NX is 1.85" from the table if you're measuring the bezel, 2.25" if you're measuring the bottom of the visible screen.

It's a bit pricey, and S-PVA, but my 2707WFP can be lowered until it touches the base. This puts it about 1/2 inch from the desk.

Thanks everybody for all your answers. It seems that the Dell Ultrasharp series are the ones that can go the lowest. I will be looking into some of their models and buying one very soon.

Thanks again!

Just lowered my Samsung 225BW to 3 1/8". Im sure the 226BW could do so as well. Enjoy your Dell, had one of those before my Samsung.
