Monitor will not wake up?

Hi guys,

So this is my problem. After i wake my computer up from the low power state in Vista, my monitor does not wake up with it unless I press any button on the monitor. Also when I do a reboot, the system will reboot but the monitor stays in standby until i press any button on the monitor. It's getting quite annoying. Any ideas?
