Monitor "view" size smaller at loadup

I purchased an Iiyama Vision Master Pro 450 (19&quot😉 almost 2 years ago, but ever since - I've had this problem that after I load up into windows then it's actual "view size" is smaller than my configed view size for that resolution. Only after 10-15 minutes does it slowly move back to what it's supposed to be configed. I returned the monitor to the company, and they replaced it. Nothing changed. I changed from TNT1 to a Voodoo3-3000, nothing changed.
I was wondering what the hell is the problem here? Could it be voltage? Magnetism? Bad Karma?

Help...

Is this a Trinitron monitor? If it is this is normal, I've had three 21" sony Trinitrons and each needed to warm up a few minutes before the entire screen would fill out, about an eighth of an inch on each side I'd say.

Don't worry about it. Every CRT display does this to some degree. Make sure you do any adjustments when the monitor is warmed up.

Try this. When booting up hit the pause button on every screen that doesn't look right and make any necessary adjustments. Worked for me. Somehow the computer will continue to remember the new settings. Doesn't screw up the windows adjustment at all.
