Monitor VGA Cable

My little brother tried to hook my computer up to no avail. Basically he totally messed up all the pins on the monitor's VGA cable. What is the best way to fix the VGA cable for this Sony monitor.

I had something similar at work, I tried to repair the d-sub connector, but the computer wouldn't boot. What I did is connected the messed up end into the monitor and the good one into the video card and is working ever since. If you can't diconnect the VGA cable (it has 2 ends that look the same) you should first try to bend back the pins and if that isn't succesful, buy a D-Sub 15 pins connector and solder it yourself.

EDIT: Ah, didn't see you there YOyoYOhowsDAjello
