Hello all

I have a newer-ish PC (8 gigs of RAM, W7, GTX 970) and I'm getting back into PC gaming. My monitor is old, like 5 years old.

So, my question is, is the monitor limiting my video card? Are there better monitors out there that can utilize my graphics card?

Currently, I'm playing Dragon Age Inquisition and it doesn't look bad at all, but with max setting, it should look better.

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Yes, there are better monitors. Don't know what price range you are looking for.

you could go with a 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor like this one.

Additionally...its always nice to have two monitors, so you can have your GTX power both your old one and a new one.
