Monitor upgrade ?'s

Different aspect ratios for different personal preferences

1080p movies will have black bars on 1920x1200

9:16 vs 10:16... I went with 9:16 (23" 1920x1080) because they're so much cheaper.

Are you really ok with the 0.309mm pixel pitch on the HannsG? A 19" 1280×1024 monitor has a lower pixel pitch than that. The Asus will appear much sharper.

How much is pixel pitch on 20" 1680x1050 vs 23" 1920x1080?

Check out this link. There's a very helpful table at the bottom. Link

Some people like a higher pixel pitch because it makes everything appear larger. The trade off is that images won't appear as sharp (depending on how far away you sit). Since I'm a gamer and have good eyesight, I prefer a smaller dot pitch.
