Monitor Upgrade Impact on Playable FPS

I'm currently running a GTX580 / 2600k combo on a 1920x1200 monitor and get around 60 FPS running BF3 on ultra settings. I'm going to grab a HD7990 later this year and get an accompanying HP ZR2740W 2560x1440 monitor. I'm thinking about going ahead and getting the monitor now, but question if the GTX580 will run BF3 on ultra at the monitor's native 2560x1440 resolution at playable framerates. Do any of you gents (or ladies) drive a ZR2740W with a GTX580 and can you cite the framerates you are getting?

I do have a ~20% overclock on the GTX580.
 
I don't know for sure, but I think the 580 could probably do alright, especially if you were to lower settings to high, which doesn't look a hell of a lot different than Ultra from what I've seen.
