Monitor turns on/off 5 times during startup

You guys have any idea why it does that

Say I turn on my computer. It turns on after like 5sec after i turned the power, then it shutss of after it examines my memory and stuff, then truns on for the seond stage, then turns off, and turns back on when my computer asks me something about Silicone RAID (btw how do i get rid of that, i dont have SATA), then turns off, on when i need to choose which of the 3 wondowses to run, tursnsoff, turns on when it actually logs on to windows.

weird, eh? Vid card problem? Mobo problem? Monitor problem? Jumper problem?

How about posting up your hardware?? Otherwise we won't be able to give as much help.

Its not weird, thats how computers boot.

They do the POST and check attached devices, and load the os. The screen going black is normal. You may need to do something about the RAID message by changing a BIOS setting.
