Monitor Troubles

Whenever I enter a game from windows, my monitor flickers black and makes a "clink cllink" noise. When the game loads all of the settings are different, the screen width, height, and position for example. I have to alt+tab until the original settings come back.

I have a KDS XtremeFlat monitor and a TNT2 model-64 pro. latest drivers.


Any help would be appreciated.

in the game settings, you have to set it to the same resolution as windows is to eliminate this problem. but with that video card, this may cause low framerates.
