Hey guys I just hooked up a 2407wfp to my PC. I currently have a 1900XT

Im seeing wierd disturbance on the screen at the monitors native resolution. Everything is fine if the desktop is a plain color but if i put an image as a wallpaper I see wierd flickering lines on the screen. Also, regardless of background, I see a wierd disturbance on the startbar.

Ive installed the card drivers etc but nothing has helped so far. Any idea what I should do?

There are no Dell drivers for that monitor yet. I know there is a Windows Update for it, though I have no idea what it 'fixes', if anything.

I have the same mintor and card, but I never had any problems like that. Is your monitor revision A02?

Also, are you using DVI or VGA? Maybe switch and see if it helps. I remember reading somewhere about this helping a guy's issue (can't remember exatly what it was about, sorry).

Not that it is a good long-term solution, but at least you could see if it helps.

Hey there,

I got a 2407WFP just last week. Can't say I notice anything like what you describe and I've used the monitor with both an ATI X800 AGP and a BFG 7900GT. I was using the monitor via DVI both times.

There is in fact a Dell driver, and it can be found here:

2407WFP Driver

Hope this helps!

Figured it out but it dosnt end well for me =/

One of the DVI ports on my X1900 seems to be messed up. Still works with a converter tho.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Oh and to the first reply, the list u have there is for the 2405 and not he 2407. Dell hadnt updated their site last I checked and it seems like they still havnt. Thanks for the help tho.
