I recently purchased a Samsung S27B970D (27-in., 2560x1440) display to replace my dual Asus 21.5-in. 1920x1080 displays. I absolutely love the S27B970D with its glossy screen, but I miss having dual displays. Due to the size of the S27B970D there is no way I could get two of these on my desk (even if I could afford another one!).
I'm looking for a smaller monitor (preferable a 19-in. 1280x1024) that I could pair with my S27B970D. I'd like for the 19-in. monitor look as much like the S27B970D as possible, so I'd like it to have the following specs:
1) 1280x1024 resolution
2) Stand that can rotate the display to portrait mode (I'd like it to have as close to 1440 vertical when rotated as possible)
3) Glossy screen
4) Have an appearance as close to the S27B970D (shown here) as possible (there is a glass front on the S27B970D, so the bezel is flush with the screen)
Does anyone know of any old monitors that have these features?
I've also thought about using my 4th generation iPad as a second display using the Duet Display app. The iPad actually looks like a mini version of my S27B970D. But, I'm afraid that there might be too much lag, and the iPad is a bit too small to see comfortably.
