I have a 4 year old laptop which I upgraded last year with a 240gb SSD drive. So it feels very fast to me. With this upgrade, if all goes well, I'll continue to use this laptop for another 2 years plus.

I've been using the small 14in display, and I'm thinking it is time to buy a monitor. A big monitor if possible. My suspicion is that the because the video card is older technology, I can't run a 27 inch monitor. So my question is, what monitor would be a good fit for this laptop? My budget is under $200.

Here is a monitor that I would consider buying... if my laptop could handle it. But I am very open to suggestions. Also I am not running any memory intensive programs, including games. But I do want to play DVD movies on this monitor from the laptop. A 24 inch monitor would be the smallest I'd like buy.
