Explanation is there (with image)

I think it's a refresh rate problem or something, but I tried dif. refresh rates but to no avail...

This is the 3rd of the same monitor I've had (the other two died completely) Gateway replaces them free, so it's no BIG loss to me :/ I love the color, and that's why I don't complain to much...but this is the worst of the 3 I have had... with squiglies on the side!

make sure you don't have any fans or other equipment that creates magnetic fields. After you turn all that off, press the degaus button on the monitor.

the only thing magnetic around my monitor would be my Klipsch speakers (about 6 inches to the side) and the sub woofer about 2 foot below it...

Other then that I don't know what else is around it... degauss doesn't work :/

deguas won't do anything if the magnetic field is still there. might want to try moving speakers but that shouldn't be the source of it.

zactly what I thought... but the odd thing is, it only happens when I highlight something, or a bunch of dif. colors are on screen.
