monitor slow startup

Hey, just bought a Benq monitor (RL2755HM) and I noticed something my old LG monitor didn't do: slow startup (boot).

Systems turns on, post, beep (normal boot) but the monitor only turns on at the windows boot.

Takes only 3 seconds to turn on, but its enough to miss POST (gigabyte's logo).

Is this normal behavior for a Benq monitor?
