Monitor size...particularly the Samsung 735df and the Viewsonic E771

Just wondering how big these monitors were? I cant decide between the 2, because both are supposedly flat screens but the samsung is more expensive. The thing is i already have a 19 inch viewsonic g790 which is humongous on my desk already but really need a good 17 inch monitor for cheap that can replace this 14 inch packard bell vga .51 dotpitch monitor im using for the second pc

both are good monitors.
the samsung is flat, so it will seem bigger when you look at it.

try to see both monitors in person and pick the one you like more.

That's 753DF.

The 753DF is a flatscreener, but the E771 IS NOT.

yeah, the e771 is not flat. my friend has one, great monitor for the sub $200 price. but the 753df is in a higher class.

one example of what the e771 is like, take your g790 (great monitor ) it's like a smaller version of it, but with lower max resolutions and refresh rates. about the same curvature too.
