i have a viewsonic ve710b monitor connected to an asus en/6600 video card and sometimes when i start my computer my monitor's led light changes from amber to green to dimmed green and then off the monitor eventurally turn on after a while. i have tried the monitor on a friend's computer and its working fine. so should i replace my video card or is there some way i can fix this.

Hmm I have a friend with a super old Athlon PC and monitor no worky. I simply pulled the video card and put it back in. Worked fine.

i tried that but it didnt help. i did mod the video card's bios for it to show the temperature would that have caused this?
