I have a crappy compaq monitor and on their webpage it says that for 1024x768, the refresh is 60hz. Is that a definite? On my radeon 9700 it gives me increment from 60-85hz. Can I increase the rate or do I need to leave it at 60?
I am going to buy a new monitor soon. What should I look for as far as quality? I think that I am limited to an 18" monitor. But I don't know what to look for as far as resolution, refresh, etc. I want a CRT since I play games.
