I downloaded a 1080p video demo to get an idea what the next gen dvd will look like. I always use 1024x768 for my desktop and games for sake of convenience and because I can't afford a top notch vga card.
So I wrote down the settings of my monitor so I wouldn't have to get them in place again as it seemed like that took forever. So I notched up the resolution and watched the video. Upon returning to my normal resolution and setting back my .... settings the display was all awry. The placement and stretching settings were all off and I had to redo the whole thing.
Why would it do this? I'm using the same resolution so why would my settings change?
